The presentation was made at the June Little Elm town council meeting. The following is an excerpt from the letter to the recipient:
We are pleased to inform you that you are a 2004 recipient of the Junior Volunteer Scholarship in recognition of your volunteer service to the Little Elm Public Library. The scholarship was established by the Friends of the Little Elm Library to recognize both middle and high school students who contribute twenty or more volunteer hours to the library throughout the year.
The Friends would like to present this award to you at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday June 15, 2004 at 7pm at the Town Center, 100 W. Eldorado Parkway. The presentation will top the agenda so please be there promptly at or before 7 pm. We invite your family and friends to also attend.
