The Friends of the Library organization, a support group for the Little Elm Public Library, is presenting their annual Trivia Contest on February 1, 2007. This event is the Friends organization's major fund raiser each year. The proceeds of the Trivia contest will be used to purchase books and reference material for the Little Elm Public Library and to fund special library programs such as "Story Time for Children."
Our community has grown so rapidly these past few years that the library is in constant need of new books, materials and programs to satisfy the rapidly expanding user base. We need your help and support. We are seeking Corporate Sponsors to provide the money needed to defray the cost of the Trivia event and to provide the Trivia prize money. Corporate Sponsors will be acknowledged in all our Trivia advertisements, on a large poster at the Trivia event, in our Friends of the Library Newsletter and on our Friends of the Library web site. Attendance at the Annual Trivia Contest has grown each year, last year we had approximately 45 teams and the event is becoming a popular community standard, we expect more this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate to the community that you are an active and concerned Corporate neighbor.
