
President: Lynn
Hidell
Preside over and conducts meetings of the members and board of
directors. Appoints committees, committee chairpersons, and members to
positions as required. Reports activities to the Library Director.
Works with the Library Director to coordinate work of
the volunteers for events and library work
Vice President: Jane Schoknecht
Performs the duties of the president in the absence of the president.
Assists volunteer committee members as needed.
Secretary: Nick
Apel
Takes attendance and minutes at all meetings of the member and the board of
directors. Prepare meeting notices and agenda, conducts the correspondence
of the organization.
Treasurer: Joe
Deaver
Keeps and maintains the financial records of the organization.
Prepares and submits financial reports to the board of directors at schedule
meetings.
Membership Coordinator: Linda Topor
Keeps and maintains the membership list / database. Mails membership
renewal notification. Sets up membership drives. Notifies the
secretary of members delinquent with their dues. Reviews such records with
the Executive Board.
Events and Fund Raising Coordinator: Cathy Woods
Coordinator of the Trivia Night, and insures successful
completion. Is the Chamber of Commerce Representative. Helps define and organize
friends programs.
Grants and Endowments Coordinator: Linda
Monaco
Develops grants and endowments that benefits the Little Elm Public Library
and Friends of the Library. Coordinates with the Library Director.
Volunteer Director: Virginia
Berney
Calls volunteers for events and meetings as schedule by the President and Events Coordinator.
Statistician: Kay Reed
Keeps records of all volunteers, including adult, junior and RSVP.
Records kept from August 1st through July 31st.
Statistics include: Master list volunteer hours by month, LEISD monthly
(alphabetical and daily), and sending in RSVP report of the month.
Publicity: Karyn
Harper
Prepares notices and writes ads for the newspaper for events and other
activities. Works with Event Coordinator as needed.
Newsletter Administrator: Linda Langford
Creates newsletters periodically. Works with membership coordinator and secretary
to ensure that newsletter is distributed to the FOL membership . Writes articles for the web site.
Takes and distributes minutes of FOL meetings in the absense of the Secretary
and Vice President. Ensure the at pictures are taken at Little Elm Friends
of the Library events. Ensure copies of newsletter and event pictures are
provide to Historian.
Web Administrator: Jeff
Johnson
Develops the Friends website. Maintain the
currency of the Friends website.
Historian: Sharon Reynolds
Keeps and updates the historical book for library events for the Friend's
events.
NTRLS Representative: Diana Russell
Attends NTRLS meetings once a month, representing the LE Library and Friends.
